Profile
Born in 1966. He debuted as a Sanshin (Three-string guitar) player of Okinawan ambient unit “TINGARA” in 99. Released 6 albums by 2005. In 2006, he formed Okinawa+Hawaiian unit “Churamana” together with the Hawaiian slack key guitar Yuki Yamauchi, Okinawa vocalist MIYARA Makico Miyara, and Hula dancer Maki Uehara. He has been working on Sanshin (Three-string guitar), composing, lyrics and producing, and released two albums by 2007. In 2008, he joined “Island Guniz” as a Sanshin (Three-string guitar) player. From 2010 he formed “coco← musika” with guitarist Juni Kajiwara, who is a longtime friend, and performs live activities.
In addition, he is also active as a radio DJ that performs one-man planning, composition, selection and production at TBS's Internet radio “OTTAVA” and community station “FM Salus” in Yokohama.
