Profile
Born in Naha City Okinawa. Graduated from Tokyo Conservatoire Naomi. As a trombonist, he belongs to “Diamantes,” “Okinawa Jazz Guild Orchestra,” “Tsukayama Masaaki & Spice,” etc. Other also composed, arranged and produced songs, and provided arrangements for the 2008 CD “Uchina Jazz.” In 2011, he was in charge of arranging and conducting a full-length orchestra at the “50th Anniversary Concert of Composition Activities” by the composer, the late Mr. FUKUHARA Tsuneo. His activities span a wide range of activities, such as contributing to the 2017 Ryukyu Shimpo column “Ochiho” for half a year. The CD “Uchina Jazz Goes On,” which was produced in 2022, first appeared at number 1 in Amazon's Japanese jazz category. It also received the “Okinawa Block Award” at the National CD Shop Awards. Currently, he is the Secretary General of the Okinawa Jazz Association. Junior jazz orchestra instructor in Okinawa.
