Born in Yodogawa, Osaka City in 1932. The family business is Maruf Credits founded in the first year of Showa era. He studied classical guitar since he was 19 years old and later studied violin. Using innovative melodies, rhythms, and forms that were not found in traditional Okinawan folk songs, made the foundation of today's Okinawa music boom. Famous songs such as' Bashofu 'are called' fukuhara melody 'and are loved by many people.
