Profile

Born on December 20, 1945 in Kuroshima Island, Yaeyama, Okinawa. After graduating from junior high school, I went to Osaka as one of the first group employment and got various jobs. After that, he trained Yaeyama folk music and debuted in 1996 in “Uminchu Yaeyama Jika” (Respect). Subsequently, “Shiosai” (1999) “Floating Man” (2001) was released. While going out to the sea every day as an Ama (Uminchu), Misaki-cho, Ishigaki City, Shimaua live house “Asariya” for 12 years and serves as a stage every day. June 15, 2011 I lost my health and closed Asatoya. After that, after going through live activities, he opened “Asariya”, a shimaouta and island fish shop on January 17, 2012.
