Born in 1935 on Kakeroma (Kakeroma) Island, Amami Oshima Island. A singer of Amami Island Song that has been sung since ancient times in the Amami Islands. The mini album “Amami (Amami),” a collaboration with piano released in 1997, attracted attention, and many albums such as “Uta Bautayun” and “Obori” were later released. While preserving the original tradition of Amami Island Song, they continue to sing with various instruments from around the world with the co-starring of various artists.
