On Okinoerabu Island in the southern part of the Amami Archipelago in Kagoshima prefecture, the island's treasure “erabuyuri” has supported the island for over 140 years and has been protected by the islanders. This is a musical work drawn on the theme of “the true appeal of islands,” using the secret story of its birth as a motif. Since it was born in 2011 as a work commemorating the 10th anniversary of the opening of Oielabu Cultural Hall Ashibi no Sato, 7 main performances have been performed at the same venue on the island by islanders, mainly island children. In 2023/8, the first performance outside the island will be held at the Aira City Cultural Center Heating Hall in Kagoshima Prefecture. Received the Reiwa 6 (2024) Kagoshima Prefecture Arts and Culture Encouragement Award. In May 2025, a Kansai performance will be held at the Hyogo Performing Arts Center.
