●World Turtle Day Special Program “Let's learn about turtles!”
5/23 is World Turtle Day (World Turtle Day). It was established in 2000 by an American turtle conservation organization as “a day to focus on turtles, deepen knowledge, pay respect, and encourage action for turtles to survive and thrive.” To commemorate World Turtle Day, the keeper in charge of reptiles will introduce the appeal of turtles in an easy-to-understand manner. After a guide with quizzes, we will guide you to the backyard of the “Hunter's Secret Land” area. A program where you can learn about turtles while having fun, such as observing the characteristics of turtles up close and carefully observing how they eat food.

●World Otter Day
“World Otter Day (World Otter Day)” is established every year on the last Wednesday of May by the International Otter Conservation Fund for the purpose of making people aware of the current state of endangered otters. Okinawa Zoo & Museum offers a fun program to learn about small-clawed otters and the current state of otters through games. They also sell original goods.
