“Humanity is one brother, father is one, mother is alone, don't hate the children of the earth, don't beat them, war is a mistake, the earth will get angry.”

The stage is Timor, an island of gods floating in the South Sea. The fateful journey that began with a single song became a documentary film full of music. The tragedy that struck this island and the miraculous people who survived it. That figure sheds a ray of hope on the world. The Japanese female director, who was 23 years old at the time, learned the local language in people's lives and came into contact with the true meaning hidden in their songs. And then we meet. A gaze praising the light. There are so many words that make me speechless. It gently penetrates the viewer's heart and becomes an afterglow that never goes away. This is the first long film in the country that takes up the battle of East Timor, which was deeply involved in Japan and was hardly reported. Even though it was screened independently, the emotion transcended national borders, and the venue trembled hearts at over 100 preview screenings in 5 countries, and it was a lovable etude. This film is full of hints about the Japanese way of life after 3.11.
