Cast: Toshi Bowron (Paulon)/Tsushima Romanos Toshi (g)/Kawanishi Yang Yosuke (fiddle)/Kameyan (per)/Jina (dance)
This is the fourth installment of the series where we welcome Irish taiko bowlon player Toshi Bowron living in Kyoto and play sound with three people, guitarist Tsushima Romanos Toshi, who lives in Okinawa, and fiddle player Kawanishi Yang Yosuke. This time, dancer Jina and percussion Kameyan from Orkestar de Viccos, the gypsy orchestra to which Guitar Toshi and Fiddle Yang belong will also participate, and they will experience music that crosses borders, from Eastern European Gypsies to Irish and Moroccan Gnawa to original songs. Experience a trip to the world of sound in Okinawa in spring.
Toshibauron
One of the few players in Japan who specializes in Bowron. They are good at creating grooves by combining wavelengths with other instruments, but there are pros and cons to movements that are so dynamic that their neck bends and glasses pop. While studying in Ireland in the winter of 2000, he started Irish music and studied at pub sessions. Currently, they are developing various activities centered around bands such as John John Festival, Culman, and Miwatoshi Tekshin. It was the first Japanese to win the 2012 Spanish Ortigueira Celtic Music Festival. Officially joined American Folk Alliance International in 2016. In the same year, they were invited to Canada CelticColours for the first time as a Japanese band. He presides over Irish music specialty event planning, CD sales label “TOKYO IRISH COMPANY”, and Irish Music Party.
