respect me! watch me! follow me! A musical film commemorating the 30th anniversary of the formation of the band “Yachimun” led by lone musician NASU Shigeki. The legendary live performance performed at Okinawa's oldest movie theater “Shuri Gekijo (Movie Theater)” is now being revived on the screen.

The Okinawan band “Yachimun” celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2021. A music film depicting the hectic life of the leader, NASU Shigeki, as a musician. His songwriting ability has a good reputation among experts, but it's been 30 years since he had only one small hit... Right now, I spend my days earning money as a sink. There was a dreamy day when such an “unsellable man” was in the limelight. It was a live performance at the Shuri Gekijo (Movie Theater) (2016) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the band's formation. Nasu Shigeki, who was ecstatic in front of the full audience, performs a seamless performance.
Director Hayashi Taima is an ally who has been filming him for many years. While showing a powerful live performance with an 18-person big band, he conveys the unique appeal of the songs he spun through interviews with Nasu. This time, which is the fourth screening following the Shuri Gekijo (Movie Theater), UKISHIMA BREWING, and the Okinawa International Movie Festival (Yoshimoto Okinawa Kagetsu Theatre), the “Final Definitive Edition,” which has been re-edited differently than before, will be screened. Aged for 30 years, the cry of Okinawan old sake Dandy (Okinawan Coos Dandy) should give smiles and courage to all who see it.
