The up-and-coming artist “Higareo” has developed works based on the theme of Okinawa, where he is from. In recent years, they have been working on installations focusing on “Ryukyu dolls,” and the latest model is currently being presented at the “Roppongi Crossing 2025 Exhibition” (until 2026/3/29) being held at the Mori Art Museum. By incorporating ready-made Ryukyu dolls into the expression, I will approach my thoughts as an artist about what kind of message they are trying to convey.
