A program designed to trace the dance-like rhythms of southern Spain and Andalusia, to the simple melodies of central La Mancha, and the climate of Spain to the “investigation of Burgos” transmitted to the northern Castile region. The title “La Calm (Serenity)” comes from Fernando Sol's song of the same name performed in the first half. This work symbolizes the gentle flow of time and the tranquil depth of guitar. The diverse sounds that live in music from all over the country are depicted with a single guitar, and while incorporating Christmas songs as prayers for the season, the sound weaves the moment that connects the land and the seasons.
