An anniversary concert was held to commemorate 10 years since the Maltese Rock masterpiece “Downtown Parade,” which was Music from Okinawa's first album, was released in 2015/11. At the performance, all songs recorded on this album will be performed, and new songs will also be shown.

Maltese Rock
Formed in 1997 by Mori, who writes and composes lyrics. Based in Sakae-machi Market in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture.
Punk rock, blues, folk, gypsy music, Okinawan folk music, etc. The music, which has absorbed all elements, makes you feel the deep roots of Okinawa, and also has a universal reach. Its powerful performance has garnered high praise not only in Japan but also overseas. A rare band that greedily digests all kinds of music and continues to embody a unique and unique worldview.
In 2015/11, the new album “Downtown Parade” was released as the first installment of the “Music from Okinawa” label produced by the Sakurazaka Movie Theater in Naha City.
There are many live shows not only within Japan, but also overseas, such as WOMEX (the World Music Expo) in Spain and live shows in Warsaw, Poland.

Maltese Rock
Formed in 1997 by Morito who writes the music and lyrics. Their activities are centred around Naha. Through the power of their music they were leaders in revitalizing the Sakaemachi market area of Naha.
Their music makes every factor, like a punk rock, blues, folk song, gypsy music, Okinawa folk music (Okinawa minyo), etc. Their music lets you feel deep roots of Okinawa to be and has a Universal expanse. And they have given powerful live performances in Japan and overseas. Their activities have broadened to include stage music and also supporting contributions for suffering in the poets rock, folk, and Okinawan minyo.
