Fierce battles involving residents unfolded in the Battle of Okinawa, and along with many precious lives, not only the townscape and scenery, but also numerous cultural properties created by our ancestors were lost. I will learn about the damage caused by the war through cultural properties damaged in the Battle of Okinawa, think about the importance of peace, and explain the trajectory of recovering cultural properties unique to Okinawa built by our ancestors. He also talks about the highlights of the “War Damage Cultural Properties” exhibition.
