Speaker: Shimabukuro Harumi (Okinawa Archaeological Society President)
As the name suggests, a “sphenoid bone product” is one of the relics that characterizes Okinawa's Jomon culture, named because it looks like a butterfly spreading its wings. Many have also been found in the ruins of Okinawa City. I will explain in an easy-to-understand manner based on the latest research results.
