Lecturer: Irechi (Architect) Moderator: Atako Kito (Editor-in-Chief, Architectural Knowledge Builders)
Architect Irechi was invited as a lecturer, and the theme was “future house-building,” which thinks from a sustainable perspective precisely because it is an age where the future cannot be seen. By eliminating waste from both design and construction, the idea is to build a comfortable ready-to-wear house where people can live with attachment for a long time at an affordable price, and standardizing design. These have been consolidated into the i-works project, which the lecturers work on. I will think about future house-building based on construction examples from lecturers who continue to build excellent houses and continue to “improve” and “develop” even now. In the second half, there will also be a discussion between the lecturer and Ayuko Kitou (Editor-in-Chief of Building Knowledge Builders).
This seminar is an online seminar hosted by generations in collaboration with 3 companies (Endeavour House, Nippon Mtex, Yamacho Shoten) that are sponsoring the Japan Eco House Award.
1. Why wooden houses are sustainable
2. Other things Irechi practices to build a sustainable (sustainable) house
3. Possibilities of future house-building → explanation based on construction examples
