We have reached the 80th anniversary of the post-war period, and in a changing international situation, what can each of us do for international peace? At this symposium, Nakamitsu Izumi, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and the head of the UN's disarmament department, and Tanaka Shigemitsu of the Japan Atomic Hydrogen Bomb Victims Group Council, which appealed to the international community for the abolition of nuclear weapons and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2024, will be invited to think.
