Nakagusuku Village had a front line that passed early in the Battle of Okinawa, so the battle here did not get much attention. However, the battle on the “Shuri Defense Line,” which included Uehara Highland in Nakagusuku Village, determined the outcome of the Battle of Okinawa. This exhibition will introduce what happened in Nakagusuku village 80 years ago.
