Since deep sea water is taken from a depth of 612 meters in Kumejima Town, 6/12 is established as “Kume Island Deep Sea Water Day” every year, and events are held on holidays in the vicinity.
At the venue, there will be exhibitions and sales of products related to deep sea water, tours of facilities related to deep sea water, free experiences of mozuku sinks and oyster fishing, mini crafts/ exhibitions, food and drink sales, and live stages with hula and bands.
