Cast: Takahiro Seto (Onna village history compilation staff) /Yamauchi Terunobu (war experience storyteller from Nakadomari, Onna Village) /Chiaki Chibana (from Kakazu, Ginowan City City/OIST staff) /Matsuda Misato (from Sobe, Yomitan Village Village/OIST staff)
On the occasion of Irei-no-hi (War memorial day) on June 23, a special lecture will be held to learn about Okinawa's history and war. Takahiro Seto will be invited as a lecturer from the Onna Village Museum to hear about the situation at the time of the Battle of Okinawa and Onna Village. Also, Yamauchi Terunobu from Nakadomari in Onna Village will also take the stage and listen to his war experiences in the form of a conversation with Seto. OIST members Chiaki Chibana and Mirei Matsuda will also participate and share their thoughts on Okinawa on Irei-no-hi (War memorial day) with stories from relatives they have seen and heard while they were born and raised in Okinawa.
Seto Takahiro Onna village history compilation staff. As a researcher on the Battle of Okinawa, he was in charge of the war edition of Onna Village History.
Terunobu Yamauchi is from Nakadomari, Onna Village. I experienced the Battle of Okinawa when I was 9 years old, and I am engaged in activities to convey my war experiences.
Chiaki Chibana is from Ginowan City Ginowan. OIST staff.
Matsuda Misato is from Sobe, Yomitan Village. OIST staff.
