Traditional handicraft art works and culture such as porcelain, stone carvings, and paper crafts from Quanzhou, China, which is a friendship city of Urasoe City, will be exhibited. I will introduce the roots of exchange between Urasoe City and Senshu City, which date back to the time of the Haruka Ryukyu Dynasty, and the current state of traditional culture in Senshu City. Every Friday night, “Lantern Night” is held, and the lanterns displayed at the entrance are lit.
