A large-scale work (tentative name: The Wall) from the series “Camouflage and Clouds,” in which camouflage clothing is made into canvas and clouds are drawn and layered on top of it, is exhibited on the wall of the glass window of a cafe in front of the torii gate in front of the Yomitan base (exhibited at the Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum Prefectural Civic Gallery, Chisou Gallery, and Timeless Chocolate). Since her solo exhibition at the Kenmin Gallery in 2024/7, the large-scale work “The Wall,” which traveled between Naha Matsushima → Chatan Miyagi → Nakagusuku Noborimata, has continued to travel. Following the previous venue TIMELESS CHOCOLATE (Chatan Town), this time it will also be held in the Sobe area of Yomitan Village, a town located along with the US military base. Called Torii Station, you can enjoy “Camouflage and Clouds” as a set with the landmark double torii gate at the facility's gate.
