It was revived in 1997, and a group dance performance was performed at theaters for the first time in about 10 years since 2014. In the first part, mid-level Ryukyu dancers add a touch of glamor to the stage with classical dance, mixed dance, and creative dance. The group dance “Mio Sei no Enjin,” which will be performed in Part 2, is set in Tomigusuku, and is a work depicting the love between blind Wakabushi and the kind-hearted Tamayasu Otsuru.

Yasuji Hoei and Ayushi Taira have been friends since they were young, and they both promised that they would get married once a child was born. Eventually, their wish came true, and a daughter, Tamano Otsuru, was born to the Hoei Shigeru family, and a son, Tsuruchiyo, was born to the Taira family. However, Taira Ayushi's wife passed away a few years later, and a second son was born with his second wife. His second wife, who despised Wakayushi (Tsuruchiyo) of Taira, who eventually grew up, poisoned Wakayushi in Taira, made him go on the verge of blindness, and throw him away in a cave in Yaese-goku. That night, Tamanootsuru hears an announcement from Kannon, whom he believes in in his dream, and decides to rescue Taira no Wakabushi from the cave in Yaese-goku...
