“Wieler (wieler)” means “cycling” in the Belgian Flemish language known as a cycling powerhouse. Also, a “wieler school (wieler school)” is a general “bicycle class” that is one of the sports education that is actively carried out in Belgium. In Japan, those textbooks were first brought in in 2003, and activities began. Since then, activities have continued by many volunteers, and it has evolved as a bicycle class that has established unique methods and ways of thinking according to traffic conditions and the bicycle environment in Japan. In addition to learning techniques for safe driving, schools have prepared fun programs designed so that children can enjoy riding bicycles.
