To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Kawasaki City's municipal system in 2024, a performance “Okinawa composed by Sonosuke ~ Ryukyu Islands Style Poetry Collection ~” was held at the Naha City Cultural Arts Theater Nahato, which is a friendship city of the same city, and in addition to unraveling the origin of the poetry collection “Ryukyu Islands Style Collection” written by Sonosuke Sato from Kawasaki, it was introduced in a form linked to Okinawan performing arts. In addition to reporting the contents of this lecture, I will once again introduce the achievements of the poet Sonosuke Sato.
