Every year from 11/25 to 12/1 is Crime Victims Week. The understanding, consideration, and cooperation of local people is important in order for those affected by crime and their families to recover from the damage and be able to live peacefully again. A lecture to deepen the understanding of citizens of the prefecture about crime victims, etc.

Survivors of the Ikebukuro runaway accident where a passenger car driven by an 87-year-old driver at the time went out of control, and in addition to the death of a mother and child crossing the pedestrian crossing, 9 people were seriously injured. The bereaved families who lost their beloved family members due to this accident will talk about the preciousness of life, safety awareness in everyday life, and the importance of victim support through their experiences as victims of traffic accidents.
