Utasa means “exchange” in the Ainu language. Myak means “Miyako Island” in the Miyako language. “Utasamyak” is a time for artists from Miyako, artists from the indigenous Ainu people of Hokkaido, and artists who are connected to each other to search for and disseminate new relationships centered around music. A time for new music where Miyako and Ainu singers interact with each other. Is it an encounter or a reunion? It's a rare night when the sounds of the north and south of Qingming cry together.
Organizer: UTASA MYAHK Executive Committee
