Uta and Sanshin (Three-string guitar): Kakibana Akiko (active based in the old folk house Kumakara Cave)
“Kutouba jinjike” is a golden word meaning “words use money” in Uchinaguchi (kuga-niku-ba). It explains that words can be good or bad, just like money, depending on how they are used, so you have to think carefully and use words carefully as when using money.
I will think about the language of the Ryukyu and Okinawa islands that have nurtured a unique identity through lectures by researchers, performances of Uta Sanshin, and talk sessions.
Part 1: About Ryukyu Languages
・History and diversity of the Ryukyu language (language situation from the annexation of Ryukyu by Japan to the present/diversity of Ryukyu languages = showing valuable audio records)
・Ryukyu language (language) is not bad (about Uchinayamatuguchi language contact/ Systematicity of Ryukyu language that remains even after a history where Japanese was forced)
・Being aware of words and using them carefully
Part 2 Uta Sanshin (Three-string guitar)
・Listen to traditional Ryukyu folk songs
Part 3 Talk Session
・Think about the future of people and words living in the land
