Approximately 100 works by master potters in the modern Japanese pottery world are on display, centering on artists who have received the Living National Treasure and the Order of Culture. Together with the co-hosted “Contemporary Popular Artist Ceramics Exhibition,” a total of approximately 350 works will be exhibited in one place. Works by master potter Hamada Shoji and folk crafts artists such as Kawai Kanjiro, who were influenced by Okinawa's Living National Treasure Jiro, are also on display.
