Oikawa Jun, the NHK Okinawa Broadcasting Station content center director, has published a book summarizing the unknown reality of America ahead of the upcoming American presidential election. While there is recognition that Gen Z is left-wing, we welcomed Kinuko Yamazato, an associate professor at the Ryukyu University School of International and Regional Creation, who is from Okinawa and is known for American studies, as an event commemorating the publication of this book depicting the realistic appearance of Gen Z, such as coverage of annual general meetings of active right-wing groups and interviews with radical left-wing students who oppose it, and a talk event was held.
