It was a time when Gusuku (castle) appeared on the Okinawa main island, and the maritime nation Ryukyu, centered around Shuri and Naha, leapt into the East Asian seas. The people of Yaeyama and Miyako formed unique stone fenced settlements, traded directly with merchants from Fujian, China, and built a unique cultural area on the East Asian Sea. Based on materials from Yaeyama and Miyako that have been learned from archaeological research, not from historical books compiled by the Ryukyu Kingdom, I will consider the history and meaning until the strengthening Ryukyu annexed this region.

Capacity:200 people (first-come-first-served basis, no reservation required)
