To commemorate “World Alzheimer's Day” on 9/21, Urasoe City Kyozuka is illuminated with the aim of creating an opportunity for local residents to know and think about dementia with the aim of “Urasoe, a town where people can live with peace of mind even if they have dementia.” This year, a marathon event will be held (Urasoe General Hospital to Kyozuka Park) to go around the illuminated partner offices in the Ekiden relay. At the finale, Kyozuka Park, there will also be dementia-related information booths and kitchen car stores. The Ekiden relay will be streamed live on Instagram.
