●Azuma AZUMA MADOKA
Born in Tokunoshima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture. I grew up in Kobe from kindergarten, and when I was in middle school, I was shocked by watching live shows for the first time and started playing music. I moved to Tokyo when I graduated from high school. Start musical activities in earnest.
In 2002, Kawamura Ryuichi debuted as the opening act for the National Tour 2002 “Midday Moon and Midnight Sun.” The appearance of taking on the challenge with one acoustic guitar was well received, and 3,000 copies were sold by hand, and on the NHK “Minna no Uta,” in addition to songs, he wrote lyrics and original pictures, and his ability was recognized. After that, he released numerous works as a singer-songwriter in the J-pop indie scene, provided songs and lyrics to other artists, produced and performed stage music, and DJing and moderated internet radio.
Sound source production using completely independent production and self-production began in 2009. Also, they are attracting attention for their live performances that make full use of loop machines and express themselves in such a way that even one person is not alone.
The first full album “I Round” was released in 2012. The song “Kibou.” will be used as the ending theme for Minami Nippon Broadcasting's “NEWS NOW” and TV TOKYO's “Onryu.” They vigorously toured all over the country and sold out the album in about six months. As a member of the band “Pirate” led by Nakamura Kazuyoshi from the same year, he also served as a chorus for concerts, albums, etc. The second full album “Background Symphony” was released in 2015, and the third full album “Promise” was released in 2019. He also shows his talents in many fields, such as directing, shooting, and editing MVs himself.
In 2020, he created the theme song and choreography for Tokunoshima's mascot character “Muru-kun.” In the same year, the 2-song single “Yorni Tokerukage” was released for limited distribution.

They are nocturnal creatures that die without food called music. When I was in middle school, I longed for Ventures and Yuzo Kayama and was active in a band. When I was in high school, I played several bands and played the Beatles, Stones, GS, etc. He was active in “Okinawa Folk Village” just before his return, and became the fourth village chief. Music activities were suspended due to work, marriage, and child-rearing, but activities resumed mainly in Naha city from around 2001. 1st CD “Love Song” was released in 2009/12. Drink & Music PROOST opened in Izumizaki, Naha in 2012/11.
