Ikeda Akiko
Meisei Gakuen Early Support Program Medaka Supervisor. Graduated from Matsuyama School for the Deaf in Ehime Prefecture. After moving to Tokyo, he joined the DPRO Deaf Education Team and founded Deaf Free School Ryunoko Gakuen (predecessor of Meisei Gakuen) in 1999. He was involved in education and rehabilitation at the child development support office “Meiharu Preschool Medaka” from 2008/4 and 2017/6 to 2023/5, and currently serves as the director of the “Meiharu Academy Early Support Program Medaka.” Co-authored “It's OK if you can't hear it! There is “Cochlear Implants and Sign Language Too” (Coco Publishing).
