It is at the northernmost tip of Shimoji Island, and is called “17END (One Seven End)” because an aircraft lands at an angle of 170 degrees to the tip, and this is a marathon event that includes the area around a 3 km long runway where you can enjoy one of the best views on Miyako Island.
The course is 21 km (16 years old and over), 7 km (elementary school students and older), and 2 km pairs (regardless of age).
