“Tamiya Exhibition”
An exhibition of Tamiya, loved by model fans around the world, was held for the first time in Okinawa. I will look back on the history of Tamiya along with the historical background. We will introduce a wide and profound world of hobbies, such as scale models that accurately reproduce cars, motorcycles, airplanes, and ships, radio-controlled cars with a structure just like a real car where you can enjoy full-scale maneuvering, and mini 4WDs called the world's smallest motor sport. A craft series perfect for summer vacation free assignments will also be held, such as constructing ducks and robots and moving them with motors, and sweets decorations made from clay. There is also an exhibition of the popular “Monster Beetle” RC car, and a lacquered mini 4WD unique to the Urasoe Art Museum.
