A revival performance of the civic drama “Ryukyu Opera,” which was first performed by Urasoe City in 2010, depicts the love story between King Shonei, who confronted the Ryukyu Kingdom's biggest national disaster “Satsuma Invasion,” and Queen Aoriyae, who supported and loved the king, by fusing classical Ryukyu music and classical music, and premiered by Urasoe City in 2010. This time, it will be a comprehensive art stage combining professional opera singers with a wind orchestra, local songs, video, and narration. Composed and composed by Yu Aragaki.
