ISHIKAWA Ryuichi (Ishikawa Ryuichi)
Born in 1984 in Okinawa Prefecture, graduated from Okinawa International University, Department of Sociology and Culture. While I was in school, I came across photography. Since 2008, he has studied under avant-garde dancer Shiba Seiryu. Studied under photographer Tetsushi Yuzaki since 2010. He works as an assistant from planning to operation in a wide range of fields related to photography. In 2014, they presented “Okinawan Portraits 2010-2012” and “Polyphony with a Superb View,” which are a collection of photographs taken of Okinawan people and their familiar environments, and received the Kimura Ihei Award, the Japan Photographic Society Rookie Award, and the Okinawa Times Art Encouragement Award. Through everyday snaps and portraits, he presents works that search for light from there while facing the contradictions and chaos of the present day.

Yoshihama Sho (Yoshihama Sho)
Born in 1985 in Okinawa Prefecture. Artist and sound artist. They perform expressions between art and music, such as sound installations, field recordings, and improvised performances using cassette tapes and daily necessities. Received the Encouragement Award at the Tokyo Experimental Festival in 2012. In 2017, she stayed in England as an overseas trainee at the Pola Foundation for the Promotion of Art. A solo exhibition with support from the Kyoto Visual Culture Promotion Foundation in 2023. In the same year, she participated in the Listening Biennale Manila 2023. Film music productions include “From Okinawa with Love” (2023) directed by Hiroshi Sunairi and “The Man Who Digs the Bone” (2024) directed by Katsuya Okuma.
