This documentary follows the photographer Ishikawa Masao, who is based in Okinawa and was the first Okinawan photographer to receive the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Award in 2024/2, and won the Domon Ken Award in March. While tracing his roots as a photographer, he projects the “love” spoken through the viewfinder, and the history, politics, and racism that formed the background of the work, and the power to overcome them along with photographs.
