The Okinawa exhibition is held by Peace Aichi every year, with a focus on Irei-no-hi (War memorial day) on 6/23. I think about peace while looking back on the history of Okinawa, from the time of the Ryukyu Kingdom to the Battle of Okinawa to the present day.
This time, we will take up the construction of a new Henoko base as a current issue. What kind of ocean is the Henoko Sea after all? What are the circumstances of the Futenma Airport relocation issue? What are the changes in the relocation plan? What is the legal battle and proxy execution between Okinawa Prefecture and the country...
I will explain the history and current situation surrounding the Henoko Sea in an easy-to-understand manner, and think about issues that are not easily reported on the mainland as my own affairs.
