June is memorial month for the Battle of Okinawa. Every year, as a project to think about anti-war peace, the Urasoe Art Museum exhibits 25 large prints of “The War Has Arrived -Okinawa Battle Print Collection-” published by SHUEISHA in 1979 with the text of Nakayama Yoshihiko, a printmaker representing Okinawa, who compiled a collection of testimonies about the Battle of Okinawa.
