The Ashiba Festival is an Okinawan cultural festival where you can enjoy Okinawan food and alcohol in addition to stages such as Eisa, Okinawan folk music, and Ryukyu dance. It is an event hosted by the Tokyo-Okinawa Kenjinkai Youth Club, which was established 45 years ago to build ashiba (scaffolding) for Okinawan and Tokyo youth, and it was temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this year it will be revived in Nakano. Canceled due to light rain and stormy weather.
