In 1962, he was born in Shimigahara, Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture, with an American soldier as his father.
I went to the mainland at the age of 17, went through various jobs, and when I was 38, I started playing the sanshin that was given to people by myself, and it continues to this day.
From Okinawan folk music to Japanese pop songs, Western music covers, and nursery rhymes, their unique playing style is unrivaled.
She has performed with famous singers such as OSHIRO Misako, Shokichi Kina, SADOYAMA Yutaka, Mitsuki Kimura, and Takehara Pistol.
Meanwhile, it has shunned the entertainment industry, and has continued to stick to places where people connect through “entertainment,” such as temples and shrines, community centers, izakayas, French restaurants, etc. all over the country.
I live in my hometown, Shimigahara. The “last Ryukyu people” who absolutely oppose war and stick to peace.
