Ryukyu glass is glass recycled by crushing and melting waste bottles into small pieces, and was created using waste bottles of cola and beer from US military bases while there was a shortage of glass materials on Okinawa Island after the war. Currently, raw glass is used instead of recycled glass, and some are colored for souvenirs, but Ikuko Onoda of “Blown Glass Studio Saisha (Ruri)” continues to make Ryukyu glass works using an old-fashioned manufacturing method of collecting waste bottles. The appeal of Ryukyu glass is that the abandoned bottle of Awamori becomes a pale blue glass, and the abandoned bottle of Orion beer is reborn into a soft brown glass, and you can enjoy colors unique to Okinawa. This time, in addition to standard vessels such as glasses and plates, we will also introduce lampshades where you can feel the fluctuation of glass. While it has a warm and soft form, it coolly adorns the space.

If you bring an empty bottle made in Japan (1 bottle with a height of 30 cm or 2 bottles under 30 cm), you will receive an original chopstick rest. First 20 people, limited to 1 per person.
