“The beauty of Ryukyu” what is the “real thing” that makes you feel at Isshuri Castle
“Shuri Castle,” a symbol of the Ryukyu Kingdom period, is said to have been built due to an announcement from “Shuri Mori Utaki” (Suimu Utaki) in the Imperial Garden (Shichanu Utaki) under the castle... “By building a castle here, the nation will stabilize and develop.” The Ryukyu Kingdom, which continued for about 500 years, actively traded with other countries, and our ancient ancestors were truly professional diplomats. Never use force, but through culture and art... The various cultural arts that were built in that era are truly “beauty” itself, and I think it is a cultural heritage that the world can be proud of. Now that a “careful way of living” is being sought, we provide “the beauty of Ryukyu,” a “real thing” that has continued continuously since the Ryukyu Kingdom period, at the base of Shuri Castle.
