It started with just one Facebook message. Yoko Kigawa was born in 1947 to a foreign father and Japanese mother in Yokosuka during the turbulent post-war period. Amidst the harsh environment and social conditions at the time, she left her beloved mother and went to America by adoption when she was 5 years old. 66 years since then. I never went back to Japan and never heard from my mother. A message sent to Kigawa Tsuyoshi, who has the same surname. Yoko's journey to the memories in her memory has begun.
