●Yamada Kenta profile
Born in 2005 in Tonoshiro, Ishigaki City, Okinawa, I entered my uncle's Yaeyama old folk music Institute when I was in the 4th grade of elementary school and began Sanshin (Three-string guitar) in earnest. From junior high school 3, he began receiving instruction from the Ryukyu classical musician “YONAHA Toru (Yonaha Toru)” and continues to the present. As of 2024/2, he is 18 years old in the 3rd year of Yaeyama Agricultural High School.

Passed the Rookie Award at the Yaeyama old folk music Contest in 2019/6, and received the November Kohama Festival Encouragement Award
Received the “Reiwa 2nd Annual Ubarama Tournament” Encouragement Award in September 2020
In February 2021, the first mini album “Yaima Road” was released with the aim of retaining the voice of a 15-year-old who cultivated up to junior high school
Received the Encouragement Award at the “5th U-18 Shimauta (Okinawan music) Singer Contest” hosted by the Okinawa Prefecture Cultural Association in February 2022
Passed the Yaeyama old folk music Competition Excellence Award in 2022/6
The Yaeyama Agriculture and Forestry High School Local Performing Arts Club, which I belong to in 2023/7, won the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award/Grand Prize at the 47th National High School Comprehensive Cultural Festival (Kagoshima Sobun 2023) held on Amami Oshima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture.
2023/8 34th National High School Comprehensive Cultural Festival Excellent School Tokyo Performance will be performed at the Tokyo National Theatre
Participated in the 2023/9 Tobarama Tournament finals for 4 consecutive years since junior high school 3rd graders
Passed the Ryukyu Performing Arts Course (Ryukyuan classical music) at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts Music Club on 2023/12/1
