At the timber warehouse (paid area) of the restoration work of the main hall of Shuri Castle, you can experience wood processing (hang a planer) using tools of a palace carpenter and listen to explanations by a palace carpenter. You can take back the scrapings of the cypress pillars used in the main hall.
Reception location: “Shimono Oniwa (Shichanuuna)” free area in Shurijo Castle Park. (Square in front of the Shurijo Castle Main Hall restoration work area)
The venue is a paid area, so payment of the admission fee is completed before reception.
Reservations: Reception starts at 9:00 on 2/13 (Tue).
Capacity：40 people each time
Advance applications are required （First come, first served. If cancellations are made, they will be accepted on the same day. Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.）
