Traditional performing arts performances outside of the prefecture by members of “Ryukatsuchu (active in Ryukyu performing arts),” which has been disseminating traditional performing arts and Okinawan life and culture on YouTube since 2020 based on the concept of “Okinawan treasures.” Once upon a time, Okinawa was a country called Ryukyu. While being influenced by China, Japan, and East Asia, they have created their own performing arts. Surrounded by beautiful seas, “Okinawa” is also an island of song and dance. In this performance, Ryukyu dance and classical music will be delivered with talks from the performers.
