Chang is a chicken with a characteristic cry brought from China during the Ryukyu Kingdom period. It is also said that this voice became the origin of Ryukyu music, and since its cry can also be heard as “tatauekin (getting richer),” it has been prized as an auspicious chicken. Also, the feathers come in a variety of colors, white, black, and five, and they look beautiful. Churn, which invites karma at the beginning of the year, is on display.
